What is a Bridge?
A bridge is made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap — these two or more anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth — and a false tooth/teeth in between. These false teeth are called pontics and can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of these materials.
Our newly formulated Cerinate is a proprietary leucite-reinforced feldspathic porcelain material used to create the most natural-looking bridges while maintaining high strength. This enhanced Cerinate is built on the original Cerinate porcelain, which is the only porcelain backed by evidence-based research demonstrating over 20 years of clinical success. Our new Cerinate is now 30% stronger than original Cerinate and offers greater translucency for the most natural-looking esthetics. With a high strength of 216 MPa, Cerinate is ideal for minimally invasive anterior bridge restorations.
IPS e.max® zirCAD Bridge
IPS e.max ZirCAD bridges are crafted using exclusive, highly advanced technology. Skilled technicians work with digital models to create extremely accurate restorations through a computer-aided design system, and the exclusive Sirona inLab® CAM system mills the bridges to precision specifications out of partially sintered, yttrium-stabilized zirconium oxide blocks. Ivoclar Vivadent porcelain is then layered over the zirconium framework to produce a metal-free, high-strength restoration that meets the clinical requirements to withstand the masticatory forces in the posterior region while replicating natural polychromatic esthetics of surrounding dentition. (Note: IPS e.max ZirCAD bridges require a full 1mm shoulder prep.)
Accomplish esthetic results while offering a patient-friendly, non-invasive procedure with our Maryland bridges. Porcelain is layered and fused to precious, semi-precious or non-precious metal. With thousands of Maryland bridges already produced by our Studio, our technicians have the experience that makes the difference.
Our experienced technicians layer porcelain over a precious, semi-precious or non-precious metal framework to achieve excellent strength for a bridge you and your patients can depend on. Porcelain margins are available.
PFM Bisque Bake Bridge
Achieve high levels of accuracy in occlusion and contours with our PFM bisque bake bridges. Once desired interdigitation is achieved,
the bridge is glazed and your patient receives a strong, precise restoration.
Hugger Provisional Bridge
Hugger Bridges are composed of a patented nano-hybrid resin and are the non-invasive, long-term provisional solution to many of your special restorative and routine emergency needs in both the anterior and posterior regions. Hugger Bridges are custom-designed with fiber-reinforced, radiopaque TrueVitality™ composite resin, available exclusively through LUMINEERS® Smile Design Studio. This formulation offers a “flexibility” that gives Hugger Bridges greater resilience, produces maximum resistance to applied stress and provides a wear rate that is less than half of amalgam.
Hugger Bridges are an ideal alternative for patients who wish to avoid shots and painful removal of tooth structure associated with fixed conventional bridges, partials and implants. Conversely, if an implant is placed, Hugger Bridges can be used to protect the implant site during osseous integration. The Hugger Bridge is also an excellent non-invasive option for single tooth replacements with a pontic span of 10mm or less. Instead of abutment crowns, the design incorporates abutment clasps attached to the pontic, allowing them to be bonded to enamel. Because they are bonded to enamel, they can later be removed with minimal impact to the abutment teeth.
Truevitality™ Labial Bridge & Lingual Bridge
TrueVitality is a proprietary nano-hybrid composite resin that allows us to create our minimally invasive TrueVitality labial and lingual bridges. The structure of these bridges allows slight “flexibility” that makes TrueVitality bridges extremely resilient. Plus, TrueVitality is a radiopaque material. Highly esthetic, these bridges create beautiful, long-lasting labial and lingual anterior restorations.
